Died at Signature Healthcare at Parkwood.

Daughter of Lando H Sr and Effie Mae Friend Cosby.
Married Glenn Crosby March 19, 1944. He preceded her in death November 24, 2004.
survivors include children Keith (Janie) Crosby, Donna (David) Friesner and Danny (Lori) Crosby; 2 grandsons, a great-granddaughter, 4 step grandchildren and 7 step-grat-grandchildren; brother Lando (Marie) Cosby Jr.; several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by brothers Leonard, Kenneth and Lyle Cosby.

1940 graduate of Waveland High School.
She helped on the family farms in Putnam and Boone counties, and worked as a waitress at the Homestead Inn at Dover and at Dorthea's Coffee Shop in Lebanon for many years.
She loved to play the piano and organ and was a pianist for 80 years at several churches including Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Barnard, IN and First United Church of Christ in Lebanon.
When her husband retired from the USDA Soil Conservation Service, they moved to North Ft. Myers, FL where they were involved in real estate, volunteer activities and we members of the Northside Baptist Church.

Service 11am Monday, February 16 at Myers Mortuary, Lebanon. Visitation 2-5pm Sunday.

Memorial donations to Northside Baptist Church, North Fort Myers, FL or Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, Roachdale, IN.
