Paul Monk was born July 20, 1941, and passed away peacefully with his loving wife Leonora by his side on August 6, 2012. Paul was a fun loving man who enjoyed having a great time with friends and family, and he will be greatly missed by all those who got to know him.

Paul spent three years in the United States Navy, and found a career working at Naval Air Station Alameda, which is where he retired from.

Paul like to spend his time riding horses and was a big fan of John Wayne and action movies. He enjoyed fine dining and a good glass of Merlot.

Paul left behind his wife Leonora, his brother Ronney Monk, his sons Loui Valleregas, and Dan Monk, his daughter Kristi Monk, as well as his son Eric Bougerie, daughters Theresa, Kathy, Roberta, Jackie, and Allison Bourgerie, as well as many grandsons, grandaughters, and nieces. Paul was preceded in death by his parents Henry Wesley Monk, Suzie (Clark) Monk, his sisters, Geraldine A. Puzon, Claire O. Willbourne, and his first wife Patricia Valleragas, and his daughter Lori tennison.

Viewing services will be held Tuesday, August 14th at Adobe Creek funeral home, at 331 Lakeville Street, Petaluma CA 94952 from 0930-1100 AM. He will be laid to rest on Tuesday August 14th, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Sacramento Valley VA Cemetery, 5810 Midway Rd, Dixon California 95620.
