Funeral services were held on Friday, April 19, with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery, Clarion.
Jeanne was born in Clarion on March 7, 1917, to Lloyd and Jeanette Morgan Strom. She graduated from the Clarion High School in 1934.
She served as a nurse in the U.S. Army during WW II at various posts in the U.S. and in England. She worked in the public health department in the state of Iowa from the early 1950's until her retirement in 1981. After living in Des Moines for 35 years, she moved to the Meadows in Clarion.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Mary Byrne.
Survivors include two sisters, Jeri (Alvin) Charlson of Belmond and Helen Capp of California; three nephews and one niece and their families.
