Terence Drury was born in Roscommon, Ireland near Boyle about 1865. At the age of 20 he immigrated to the United States. He married and reportedly had no children. On February 15, 1903 he married again to Mary Hanly Sexton, a widow with two children - Mary (Jordan) and Thomas Edward Paul. Together he and Mary had three children - John Aloysius, Terence F., and Rita Catherine (Shanley). Terence worked as a longshoreman. In 1915 when he was 50, a crate of ice was accidentally dropped on his leg and the injury was ultimately fatal.
