Eliza Alexander b. abt 1866 or 1868 in Scottsboro, Jackson Co., Alabama. to John A Alexander and Sarah Wells the family came to Texas in 1884 and settled eventually in Titus Co., Texas Eliza married Robert Flemming Allen in 1887
Robert worked with his father in law in Titus Co.,Tx when he and Eliza had young children. When John died in 1917 the family ended up in Denton Co., TX and Grapevine Tarrant Co., TX, Eliza and John had 8 children. John Rilely, Sarah Ellen,Gilbert, Alabama Vestie, Otis, Admaial Dewey,Clay and Robert.
Eliza and her family came to Texas by wagon He Husband Robert and his family were in Denton Co., TX by 1880
Someone at a later date put in stone markers on there graves , however the dates are not exactly correct. Having Eliza born in 1871 when it should be about 1866 and passing in 1941. I remember seeing her one time as a young boy in 1939 . She passed away the year we left Oklahoma and moved to Oregon.
