He is preceded in death by his parents, Dionicio Arellano and Aurelia Arellano; sisters, Dominga Martinez, Carolina Pena, Virginia Martinez; brothers, Julian Arellano, and Juan Arellano.

Dionicio leaves behind his loving daughter, Marie Denise (Jesse) Guardiola; sons, Adam Diaz, Dionicio (Jenny) Diaz III; Dominique Lee Arellano, Raul Arellano, Joseph Arellano; brothers, Luis Arellano, Robert Arellano; 13 grandchildren Darrian, Manuel, Magdalene, Breslin, Jesse III, Joe, Jon, Megan, Balie, Anthony, Mariah, Daiden, Dominique Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Christian, and Adelynn; and numerous nephews and nieces.

The family will be receiving friends at Treviño Funeral Home 3006 Niagara at Port; with a Holy Rosary to be recited. A funeral chapel service will be held at Treviño Funeral Home; burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
