Sowers Jr., 78, of Franklin Street, is scheduled for 9 a.m. Friday at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Father Cyprian Uline, OFM Conv., St. Edward Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Gardens Memorial Park. Carlsbad Veterans Honor Guard will provide military honors at graveside.
