Faye Elizabeth Ridenhour Taylor, 91, of Albemarle passed away on Thursday February 5, 2015.

Her funeral service will be a graveside service at 2 PM in Fairview Memorial Park on Saturday, February 7 2015 with Rev. Steve Saunders and Rev. Danny Laws officiating. The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home on Friday from 6 PM to 8 PM.

Mrs. Taylor was born on September 28, 1923 in Stanly County, NC and was the daughter of the late Paul Ridenhour and Dora Isenhour Ridenhour.

After the death of her father, she was raised by her mother and step-father J.D. Baucom.

She was employed at Stanly Memorial Hospital in the Dietary Department. She was previously the Manager of Albemarle Junior High School Cafeteria. Mrs. Taylor was a member of Albemarle Wesleyan Church.

She was married to the late Earl Davidson Taylor.

Survivors include her two daughters Carlotta T. Efird and husband Gary of Albemarle, Christy T. Hopkins and husband Mike of Albemarle, one sister, Gleamer R. Bost of Concord. She is also survived by four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and eight step-great-grandchildren.

A granddaughter, Loretta Efird Heun, preceded her in death on January 14 of this year.
