Marjorie Ann Bryant, 81 of Rising Sun, MD, formerly of Kent County, MD, passed away on February 5, 2015 in Calvert Manor Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Bryant was born on April 15, 1933 in Wilmington, DE, daughter of the late Walter J. and Elizabeth Hogan Nichols. She and her husband lived in Galena from 1963 to 1985 and in Fairlee from 1985 to 1999. After the death of her husband she moved to Rising Sun. She was a member of St. Dennis Roman Catholic Church and was past president of the Altar and Rosary Society.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, John T. Bryant, Sr.; a sister Shirley E. Hess and 4 granddaughters, Ashley Tharp, Jaclyn Kilmon, Laura Stryker and Megan Sutton.
She is survived by her children, Ann Marie Sutton (Woody) of Baltimore, MD, Cathy Stryker (Mark) of Galena, John Bryant, Jr. of Earleville, MD, Edna Graybeal (Ken) of Rising Sun, MD, Edward J. Bryant (Kathleen) of Galena and Amy Larrauri (Julio) of Chestertown, MD; 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
