LaVerne P. Parker, 94, died Wednesday, April 6, 2005, at Proctor Hospital.
Born Sept. 13, 1910, in Peoria to Martin and Ellen Lairy Jones, she married Erskine L. Parker in 1945 in Peoria. He preceded her in death.
She also was preceded in death by two sons, Harold Proctor Sr. and Harry Proctor Sr.
Surviving are one son, William Proctor; one sister, Delores Hamilton.
She worked at Block & Kuhl department store.
Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
