In 1921, Violet Gorman married John E. Allen in Philadelphia. They resided in Philadelphia until 1934 and then between 1935 and 1952 lived in Haddon Heights, Camden County, N.J. After John died in 1952, Violet remained in Haddon Heights until 1961 when she moved to Warminster, Pa. She lived there until her death in 1987. She is buried In Locustwood Cemetery in Cherry Hill, N.J. with her husband John.
