Carl Barker, Parma, Dies
CALDWELL--Carl Barker, a Parma resident for the past 10 years, died Jan. 3 at a Nampa hospital. He was born Feb. 7, 1872, at Wyoega, Wis., and was a farmer and retired Methodist minister.
Survivors are his widow, Zelma Lois Barker of Parma; two daughters, Juanita Little, Rushville, Ind. and Charlotte Martin, Memphis, Tenn.; two sons, Wade, Hammond, Ind., and Clair, Calumet, Ill.; his mother, Miranda Barker, Wilder; four brothers, Harry, New Meadows; Walter, Wilder; George and Eugene both of Iowa; one sister, Josie Ragsdale, Star.
The body is at Peckham-Dakan chapel. Funeral arrangements have not been announced.

Carr Barker, 73, Parma, died at a Nampa hospital, Jan. 3. He was born at Wyoega, Wis., and for the past few years he has been engaged in farming. Prior to that he was a minister.
He is survived by his wife, Zelma Lois Barker of Parma, his mother, Mrs. Miranda Barker, of Wilder; the following children: Juanita Little of Rushville, Ind., Clair Barker of Kalumel, Ill., Charlotte Martin of Memphis, Tenn; brother, Harry Barker of New Meadows, Walter Barker of Wilder, George and Eugene living in Iowa; sister, Mrs. Josie Ragsdale of Star.
Services for Mr. Barker will be at the Community church in Parma Friday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Stanley Banks in charge. Burial will be at Wilder.
