Hays -- Joseph Stadelman, 82, formerly of Hays, died Tuesday, Dec. 31, at the Wilson Nursing Center.
Mr. Stadelman was born May 4, 1903, in Hays. He was a retired farmer and a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hays.
His wife, Sarah M., died in 1972.
Survivors include two sons, Gilbert of Wilson and Virgil of Hays; a brother, Frank of Ellis; and two grandsons.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hays, the Rev. Felix Petrovsky and Monsignor Emil Sinner officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A parish wake service will be held at 8 p.m. today at Brock's North Hill Chapel, Hays. Visitation is from 1 to 9 p.m. today and until the service Saturday at the chapel.
