Jack Leonard Anglin, 73, of Dobbins, California, died on February 4, 2001, at his residence. Born in Guthrie, Oklahoma, he was a Yuba-Sutter resident since 1972.

He was a director of the Yuba County Water District for four years and retired from the U.S. Navy as senior chief fire control technician after 20 years, serving during World War II and the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a member and past commander of the George Steiner Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10135, Brownsville, and a member of the Veterans
Memorial Committee of Yuba/Sutter Counties.

Survivors include two grandsons, Aaron O'Brien of Fairfax and Timothy O'Brien of Oregon; a granddaughter, Eden O'Brien-Brenner of Berkeley; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Anglin, and two sons, Pat O'Brien and Michael O'Brien.

Donations may be made to the George Steiner VFW Post 10135, P.O. Box 479, Brownsville CA 95919.

Services: A memorial service was conducted at the Dobbins Christian Assembly in Dobbins. Chaplain John Boyles and Post Commander Leonard Wright of the George Steiner
VFW Post officiated. Arrangements were under the assistance of Lipp and Sullivan Chapel.
