He was preceded in death by parents, William G. Raoul and Louisa Popham Raoul of Lookout Mountain, Tenn.
A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, he was a graduate of The University of the South.
He was the president of Raoul Land and Development, and he was an avid outdoorsman and tree farmer.
He is survived by his son, William G. Raoul II of Lookout Mountain, Tenn.; sister, Lousia Moore of Awendaw, S.C.; and nephews, Samuel and William Moore of Awendaw, S.C.
Memorial services will be on Wednesday with a 10 a.m. visitation, and an 11 a.m. service at Church of the Good Shepherd, Lookout Mountain, Tenn.
