John was the son of Thomas/Rebecca(Cowen),Thomas was the son of John Wasson, wife unk, who died in Rockbridge County Virginia 1832.Thomas moved to Ohio in 1804.Thomas Wasson and wife connected with U.P. Church at Cherry Fork soon after its organization in 1805 and remained members thereof during their lives.Thomas Wasson's wife died Aug 5 1838 and he survived until Dec 3 1851.
