Mark Matthew Lloyd, 47, Brandon, South Dakota, died Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015, from pancreatic cancer.

A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, at Risen Savior Catholic Church in Brandon. Interment will follow at the Brandon Lutheran Cemetery. A visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, with the family present from 5 to 8 p.m. and a wake service at 7 p.m. at Heartland Funeral Home in Brandon.

Mark Lloyd was born June 20, 1967, to Gaylen and June (Shay) Lloyd in Sioux City, Iowa. He attended Riverside Junior High School. When he was in seventh grade, the family moved to Luverne, and he graduated from Luverne High School in 1985. He then attended Western Iowa Tech in Sioux City. He worked at IBP, Hills Stainless Steel, LVO Manufacturing, Northwest Roofing, Countryside Directory, Sioux Falls Auto Auction, Summit Auto Group, and most recently as the service manager for Billion Automotive stores in Sioux Falls and Sioux City.

Mark married Sally Deutsch on Sept. 23, 1989, at St. Mary’s Church in Ellsworth. The couple lived in Ellsworth until September of 1996 and moved to Brandon, South Dakota.

Mark is survived by his wife, Sally; three sons, Austin (Shannon Klaassen), Little Rock, Iowa, Collin (Sam Rote), and Aydin, all of Brandon; a brother, Joe (Kristi) Lloyd, Inwood, Iowa; three sisters, Penni (Brent) Gilbert, O’Neil, Nebraska, Julie (Marc) Mozak, Sioux City, and Susan (Tim) Middagh, Worthington; brothers- and sisters-in-law Randy (Carla) Deutsch, Sioux Falls, Jeff (Laurie) Deutsch, Ellsworth, Danny Deutsch, Ellsworth, Gary (Brenda) Deutsch, Gilbert, Arizona, Cathy Deutsch, Ellsworth, and Mary (Daryl) Kramer, Ellsworth; Uncle Jim and Aunt Deloris Shay, Sioux City, and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his mother-in-law, Leoris Deutsch.
