June E.Lloyd,65,of Worthington,Minn.,formerly of Sioux City,Iowa died Monday March 24,2003 at a Sioux Falls,S.D.hospital.Services will be 1:30p.m.today at Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel,with Rev.Rex.T.Washington officiating.Burial in Graceland Park Cemetery.Mrs.Lloyd was born June 2,1937 in Mapleton,Iowa,daughter of Ernest James and Winnifred Irene(Pauley)Shay.She attended and graduated from Mapleton High School.She married Gaylen Lloyd on May 23,1955 in Sioux City.The couple lived in Sioux City for 20 years,then moved to Luverne,Minn.,and lived there for 19 years,They have residents of Worthington for the last five years.She was a member of Methodist faith in Sioux City,attending Whitfield United Methodist Church,also a member of Post Office Auxiliary and enjoyed camping and cooking and time with her family and her grandchildren.Survivors include,her husband;two sons,Joe and wife Kristi of Inwood,Iowa.,Mark and Sally of Brandon,S.D.;three daughters,Penni and Brent Gilbert of Randolph,Neb.,Julie and Marc Mozak of Sioux City.,Susan and Timothy Middagh of Worthington,Minn.;a brother James and wife Delores Shay of Sioux City;11 grandchildren;several nieces and nephews.Preceded in death by her parents,a sister,Julia Gruis,a niece Teresa Gruis-Alkorn.
