DIED
MULKEY - On Monday, January 12, 1914, at the home of her son, J.H. Honig, at Cambridge, Idaho, Mrs. Louisa Mulkey.
The deceased was born in Jackson county, Missouri, on July 11, 1833, and crossed the plains with her parents in 1858, settling on a donation land claim seven miles west of Eugene. In 1857 she was married to [Augustus] Gustave Honig, who died in 1866. She was married again in 1872 and lived with her second husband until his death. Since that time she has been making her home with her son in Idaho. She was a lifelong member of the Christian church. The funeral will be held from the Gordon & Veatch chapel on Friday morning at 10:30 o'clock. The services will be conducted by Rev. J.S. McCallum. Interment will be in the Mulkey cemetery.

Her second husband was John F. Mulkey, the son of James Harlan Mulkey and Sarah A. (Martin) Mulkey. John F. Mulkey died at Mohawk, Lane County, Oregon on September 25, 1903.
