Gisela Margarete Porges was born Nov. 9, 1927 to Kurt Oscar Porges and Margarete Bendige in Hermsdorf-Rehefeld, Germany. She married Marion Joel Maudlin Oct.16, 1948 in Bad Wildongen, Germany. The rest of her life was spent in Worth Co. Missouri. They were the parents of 4 children Charlotte May, Billy Laverne, Barbara Ann and Rose Mary. She was an avid gardener and loved fishing and spending time with her family. She was very proud to become a citizen of the United States. She was a member of the Irena Willing workers and the VFW Auxilary. She died at home Mar. 25, 1992.
