Elizabeth Joyce Apple, 83 of Norman, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014, in Norman. She was born May 21, 1931, in Lamoni, Iowa, to Luther Morton and Lettie Olga Edmunds.
She graduated from Holdenville High School in June of 1949. Elizabeth married E. T. "Ed" Apple on Jan. 29, 1948, and they were married for 54 years. She was a member of Community of Christ Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her daughter, Vicky Rae.
She is survived by three daughters; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family has suggested cancer research as appropriate for memorial contributions.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Primrose chapel, with burial at Holdenville City Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Primrose Funeral Service.
