Roy William was born 10 Jan 1913 in Ozark, AR, to Albert and Leona Jane Walls. He passed from this life on 4 May 2006 at the age of 93. He was married to Pearl Lemmon on April 9, 1946. He served his country during World War II as part of the 114th Infantry Regiment. He was retired from Tinker AFB where he worked in the wood mill. Roy worshipped with the Choctaw, OK, Church of Christ for many years. He was a wonderful Christian Dad, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather and Uncle. He sang all the time and when he was able, liked to play the fiddle. He is survived by his daughter: Phyllis and husband Tom Wood, his sons: Larry Walls and Steven Walls; granddaughter: Christie Porter and husband Ryan; granddaughter: Deborah Wood; and great-grandchildren: Jared and Lane Porter and Breanna and Brandon Rentfro. He is also survived by his nephew, Charlie Wallander and wife Beulah of Independence, MO. He and Charlie were like brothers. Many nieces and nephews, whom he dearly loved, also survive him. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Pearl and siblings Bertha, Jim Sam, Sherman, Hulda, Elsie, Elmer, Rena, Ruby and Rosetta. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Nigerian Missionary work in care of the Choctaw Church of Christ. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 8, 2006 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel with interment at Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Norman.
