Actor. Born to Jewish parents, he found his interest in acting at an early age and was later mentored by Michael Chekhov and Lee Strasberg. He gained experience as a member of a touring Shakespearean group. After marrying, he moved to California to pursue a career in acting. A performance in the stage production of "Once Upon a Tailor" led to the beginning of his television and film career. He played a wide range of characters including the mute who was killed by a giant grasshopper in the B picture "Beginning of the End" (1957) and had a more prominent role as 'Romano' in "Imitation of Life" (1959). He appeared in a 1960 episode of the popular series "The Twilight Zone" titled 'Execution". He totaled more than one-hundred television credits during the course of his career. Among his other film credits include "Black Sunday" (1977), "Being There" (1979) and "Splash" (1984). Wyenn and his wife were highly-active in Jewish causes. He was the founder of the Yiddish Kinder Theater.
