Services will be at 1 p.m. Eastern time Monday at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home in Waynesburg.
Burial will follow in Pleasant Point Cemetery, Kings Mountain.
Visitation will be from 4 until 6 p.m. Saturday at Hughart & Beard Funeral Home in Hopkinsville and from 10 a.m. Eastern time until the service hour Monday at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home.
A native of Pulaski County, he was born Sept. 24, 1929, the son of the late Squire and Margie Campbell Watts.
He retired from the U.S. Army after 25 years, having served in WWII and the Vietnam War. He served as the director of the Hopkinsville-Christian County Senior Citizen Center, which was renamed the A.W. Watts Senior Center when it relocated to its current location on West Seventh Street.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlean Coker Watts, in 1982, and his son, Kenneth Wade Watts.
Survivors include his daughter, Debra Robertson, Hopkinsville; his brother, Marion (Jean) Watts, Astabula, Ohio; and two grandsons.
