RICHMOND, Ind. - Elta M. Flatter, age 80, of Richmond, passed away on January 31, 2015, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 29, 1934, to Calvin and Beulah (True) Dennis, in Richmond. She was retired from Belden; and a member of the 25 year club. She enjoyed her family and raising horses.

She is survived by two daughters: Sheila Rader and Lisa (John) Hartman; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a sister: Linda Hampton; and two very special friends: Lena Frances and JoAnn Mann. Special thanks to Hospice and to Dr. Patrick Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Flatter; her parents; two sons: Paul Jeffrey Rader and Steven Rader; a daughter: Jacqueline Frame; a brother: Gene Dennis; and one infant grandchild.

Funeral services for Mrs. Flatter will be held Tuesday February 3, 2014, 2:00 PM, at Centerville Church of The Nazarene, with Pastor Josh Cook and Rev. Bob Malone officiating. Family and friends may call two hours prior to the service beginning at 12 Noon. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery. Services entrusted to Community Family Funeral Home.
