Snelling, Margaret "Marge" (Paffrath) age 95, died quietly at Meadow Woods in Bloomington, MN, on Jan. 21, 2015. Marge was the third child of Henry and Mildred Paffrath. Born August 18, 1919 in Clinton, MN. Growing up on a farm she shared a happy childhood with 1 brother and 4 sisters. After graduating with honors from Clinton High School she moved to Mpls and attended Mpls Business College. Marge worked for Investors Syndicate before marrying Carroll Snelling. They had 4 sons, moved to Bloomington in 1948 where she resided until her death. She was an active member for many years at Emmaus Lutheran Church. Marge was known as "The Plant Lady", as she loved growing, caring and selling plants in the neighborhood. Canning, sewing and reading were her other hobbies. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Mildred; husband of 67 years, Carroll; son, Don; brother, Mansford; sisters, Wanda and JoAnn. Survived by sons, Ron, Greg "Mo" and Todd; sisters, Rhea Page and Joyce Faircloth; and daughter-in-law, Tina Snelling Nelson; grandchild, Scott (Ali); and great-grandchild, Penelope. As per her request, no memorial service. Interment in the spring at Fort Snelling.
