"The father of a Dansville woman, Otto J. Woodworth, 75, of Hartsville died Saturday (Dec. 18, 1982) in his home following a long illness. His daughter is Mrs. Elaine Whitford of Dansville RD 2.
A life resident of Hartsville, he was a retired dairy farmer and had worked for nearly 10 years as a carpenter for the former Erie-Lackawanna Railroad. He was a former Town of Harts-ville highway superintendent and was a 50-year member of the Hornellsville Grange.
Also surviving are his wife, Hattie Hale Woodworth; six other daughters, Mrs. Eliza Bundy of Austin, Pa., Mrs. Lulabelle Coller and Mrs. Helen Shearin of Okla, Fla., Mrs. Ada Carpenter of Paramount, Calif., Mrs. Gloria Barnard of Canisteo and Mrs. Ann Moore of Canisteo; six sons, Bryan, Charles, Thomas and Leon of Hornell, Ronald of Rochester and Raymond of Branchport; 48 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A last rite was conducted Monday in Canisteo. Burial was in Hartsville Center Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Canisteo Fire Company Ambulance Fund care of Steve Weed, Third St., Canisteo 14823." (Genesee Country Express, December 23, 1982, p8)
