Margaret was the oldest of nine children and highly intelligent. She was one of the first original computer programmers in the 1960's, and she was a Scrabble Tournament Champion and loved to play. She was married to Donald Joel Freidkin and they had one son David Joel Freidkin. She died from lung cancer after a lengthy illness from heart disease and cardiac bypass surgery. Margaret had a delightful sense of humor and a zest for life. She is truly missed.
