Margie L. Cottingim

Margie L. Allen Cottingim, 66, of Calhoun, Ga., and formerly of Camden, Ohio, died Monday, April 17, 2006, at Gordon Hospital following several months of declining health.

She was born July 23, 1939, in Casey County, Ky.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wade Allen in 1999; brother, Frank Allen, in 2001; sister, Mary Allen in 1943; grandchildren, Kristin C. Williams in 1981, Candi L. Mathis in 1989 and Amanda Williams in 1990.

Survivors include her husband, Willard Cottingim; mother, Martha Allen; sons and daughters-in-law, George and Sue Williams of London, Ky., and Jay and Tara Cottingim of Adairsville, Ga.; daughters and sons-in-law, Rita and Doug Wilson, and Diane and Donnie Sanders, all of London, Ky., Tracey and Tommy Grooms of Calhoun, Ga., Tami and Dino Ballinger of Camden, Ohio; Vicki and Roy Barton, and Glenna Wyatt, all of Eaton, Ohio.

Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, Shawna and Claude Gilbert, Michelle Wilson, Paige and Anthony Allen, Shane and Sherron Wyatt, Joshua Wyatt, Andrea Wyatt, Stephanie Mathis, Abby Ballinger, Emma Ballinger, Melissa McRill, Michelle and J.C. Niehoff, Ashleigh Cottingim, Aidan Cottingim, Marty and Missy Robinson, and April Williams.

Other survivors are 11 great-grandchildren, Dakota Allen, Dalton Allen, Destiny Allen, Houston Wilson, Emma Gilbert, Alexis Wyatt, Cora Niehoff, Issac McRill, Kireen McRill, Whitley Robinson, Danika Robinson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronnie and Donna Allen, Gary and Carol Allen, Jerry and Linda Allen, Rudy and Judy Allen; sisters and brothers-in-law, Hazel and Stan Andrews, Carol and Lee Montooth, Teresa and Steve Hughes, Leisa and Mike Kloss; sisters-in-law, Linda Easton and son Darron, Nancy Hensley and son Mark.

Funeral services were Saturday, April 22, at First Southern Baptist Church, Camden, with the Rev. Greg F. Jackson officiating. Burial was in Fairmount Cemetery, Camden. Nein-Barnes Funeral Home, Camden, was in charge of arrangements.
