Andrew married Catharine Adams, and they lived in Bennett's Settlement on Owen's Patent, about half a mile north of Dundee, where they kept a tavern at an early day, and where they both died. Their children were Patty, Anna, Susan, Polly, Jane, Lydia, Catharine, Sally and Madison. Patty married Samuel Vance. They settled on Phillipp's Location, where he is still living. Their children were John, William and Andrew. Anna married John S. Sutphin. Susan married Daniel Haight, who was for some years a merchant at Dresden. Their children were Andrew N., Sylvenus, Hiram, Jacob, George, Susan and Sarah. Polly married first, Luther Hair. He died in Starkey leaving three children, Huldah, Mary A. and Uriah. Of these, Huldah married Tewalt Swarts, son of Tewalt Swarts, 2d., Uriah married first, Julia A., daughter of David Smith. They had a daughter, Mary, who married William Stanton of Barrington. Uriah has a second wife, Emily, daughter of Calvin Huson. They have a son, Luther. Polly, widow of Luther Hair has a second husband, Peter H. Crosby of Barrington. Jane was the first wife of Jephtha F. Randolph, and has a second husband, Uriah Bennett, residing in Torrey. Their children are Josephine, Ray, Madison and Lee Ellsworth. Lydia married George FitzSimmons. They had a large family and moved to Michigan where he was a leading citizen, and a member of the Legislature. Catharine married Robert Wilson. Sally was the wife of James B. Lanning. Madison born in 1810, married Melinda, daughter of Doctor Millard, in 1831. She was born in 1814. He resided on the homestead of his father and died there in 1870. His widow survives. Their children were Dorcilla, Marilla and Melissa. The first died a young woman. Marilla married Frank Benedict of Dundee. They had a son Charles. She has a second husband, Samuel S. Wickham, residing at Middletown, Orange Co. Melissa married Reuben Vosburg, merchant at Dundee. They have a son Freddie.
