Please remember that these are memorials for loved one. I do not post census data or anything in data form. I will however be happy to post an obituary or biography.
I became interested in Genealogy in 1998 when I returned to my home town in Royal Oak, Mi. after being away for 35 years. A cousin of mine decided to have a family reunion at that time. Having a very large number of 1st cousins that I hadn't seen since childhood, I was delighted and overwhelmed with emotions. Everyone brought stories and photos and we talked for hours about our ancestors. The Altay Cemetery in Schuyler Co., N.Y. became my main focus as this is where my mother's Great Grandparents are resting. Since then, I have discovered that many of the people buried there are closely related to me if not directly.
Before Genealogy, I was breeding show quality Scottish Terriers, which I have raised over 52 puppies.
I am currently using my Arwine family research / data to link together the family of Col. Arthur Erwin of Erwin, Steuben Co. N.Y.

I would like to pass on the kindness that I have received in the past while looking for my ancestors so I am willing to look up obituaries for any of my NY listings which is nearly all of them. Please request through the memorials.

A big THANK - YOU to Richard Horton (#47598526) Who has submitted many, many obituaries and death notices to my memorials.
