Killian Leiker, 67, a rural Hays farmer, died unexpectedly at his home early Friday. He was born March 19, 1904 at Munjor and had been a lifelong resident of the Hays area.
Brock's North Hill Chapel announced that funeral services for Leiker will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church here. A parish wake service will be held at the funeral home Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Friends may call at Brock's from 2 p.m. Saturday until the time of services. Graveside service will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Leiker was preceded in death by three brothres and a sister.
Survivors include the widow, Emma, of the home; four sons, Norbert K. Leiker and Marvin J. Leiker, both of Hays, Emil P. Leiker of Kansas City, Kans., and Gilbert Leiker of Ulysses; one brother, Frank A. Leiker of Hays; three sisters, Mrs. Albert Geist and Martina Leiker of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Hugh Faulkner of Ogallah; and 16 grandchildren.
