She was born April 14, 1917 in Lead, S.D. to Bernard and Amelia (Magnuson) Cullen. She was married to Donald Barker April 25, 1970 at St. Paulinas Church in Syracuse, Neb. She was a homemaker, volunteer for St. Elizabeth's Hospital with over 4000 volunteer hours knitting baby caps. Petronella's knitting/crocheting hobby also benefited Catholic Social Services.
Survived by her husband, Donald D. Barker.
Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Wednesday (5/26/10) at St. John's Catholic Church, 7601 Vine Street, Rev. Lyle Johnson. Rosary will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday (5/25/10) at Wadlow Rozanek Funeral Home, 5200 'R' Street. Visitation 12-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation. Wadlow Rozanek Funeral Home, 5200 'R' Street, Lincoln is in charge of arrangements.
