E. C. Mooney telegraphed from Bonneville Thursday that Indian Dominick of Hood River was drowned in the Columbia near that place Wednesday night.

The body of Indian Dominick whose death by drowning we chronicled last week, was found a day or so after the accident and brought here for burial. The Indians held their own peculiar services over the deceased, and they could be heard for a mile. Dominick was a pretty industrious Indian, but when he tackled a sail boat he overreached himself, for in attempting to tack he turned the boat over, and he couldn't swim.
