Richard George Preston
Stanley, Feb. 14 — Richard George Preston, 84 years, died yeterday morning in this village. Mr. Preston came from Yorkshire, England about seventy-four years ago. Later he married Margaret Ann Pitt, who died six years ago. To them were born several children, six of whom survive him - two sons, Frank Preston of Geneva and Grove Preston of Stanley; four daughters Mrs. Charles Moore of Stanley. Mrs. John Moore of Canandaigua, Mrs. Albert Moore, also of Canandaigua and Mrs. Owen Melious of this village. Mr. Preston was a retired farmer.
The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from his late residence in Stanley and interment will be made in the Gorham Cemetery.
