Rites Saturday for Mrs. Albert Moore
Funeral services for Mrs. Albert L. Moore, 72, were held Saturday from the Moore home in Lafayette highway. Rev. Lawrence Dunn officiated with burial in Sand Hill cemetery.
Mrs. Moore died Thursday in Thompson hospital after a brief illness. She was born in the town of Seneca, Jan. 13, 1881, daughter of the late Richard and Margaret Pitt Preston. A lifelong resident of Ontario county she was a member of Aloquin Methodist church. Mr. and Mrs. Moore celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in January.
She is survived by her husband, Albert L. Moore; a sister, Mrs. Owen Melious, Stanley; two brothers, Frank Preston of Geneva and Grover Preston, Stanley; also several nieces and nephews.
