Diana graduated from Monrovia High School in 1974. She worked at Meadow Lakes in Mooresville and previously at the Plainfield Walmart and Mooresville Bargain Center. Diana enjoyed collecting snail knick-knacks, visiting yard sales, playing bingo, and taking trips to the casino.
Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and always looked forward to attending her family’s annual Halloween and Christmas gatherings. She cherished her grandchildren and would often spoil them during sleepovers. Diana’s fun-loving personality, along with many fond memories will remain in the hearts of her beloved family and friends.
Survivors include her children, Keith Gardner (wife, Shawnda) of Mooresville, John Gardner of Mooresville, and Kolette Hoskins (husband, Bryon) of Mooresville; siblings, Debra Benge (husband, J.L.) of Mooresville, Pamela Jones (husband, Craig) of Mooresville, Teresa Gardner (husband, David) of Martinsville, and David Hunt (wife, Cindy) of Monrovia; loving grandchildren, Jordan Bruce, Madison Gardner, McKenna Gardner, Sharae Gardner, Savannah Gardner, Monica Lewis, Jaiden Lewis, Nevaeh Hoskins, Karmyn Hoskins, Brianna Hoskins, and Isaac Hoskins; former spouse and friend, Samuel Hill of Indianapolis.
Friends and family will gather from 4 to 8pm, on Friday, January 23, 2015, in Light Memorial & Funeral Chapel, Monrovia. A celebration of life service will begin at 12 Noon, on Saturday, January 24, 2015, at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.
