Terrence Dwayne Ables, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2006. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday, May 5 at St. Francis Catholic Church with the Father Albert Lafort officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 4 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Bosque Chapel.

Terry was born in Fort Worth, Texas, to the late L.D. and Sarena Ables. He was a resident of Fort Worth until he met his wife, Gloria Ables. He moved to Waco and embraced three children: John, Connie and Rey, as well as numerous grandchildren to follow. His hobbies included fishing, camping, watching ESPN and spending every moment possible with his grandchildren. Terry was an avid Baylor fan, following the bears even though he was a Fort Worth native.

Terry was preceded in death by a nephew, Josh Ables.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria; sons, John Guardiola and wife, Mary, and Rey Guardiola and wife, Cynthia; daughter, Connie Tremont; grandchildren, Johnathan Guardiola, Dylan Tremont, Alyssa Garcia, Zena Guardiola, Baylee Tremont, Benjamin Guardiola and Serena Guardiola; and great-grandchild, Rainique Guardiola; brothers, Larry Ables and wife, Della, Gary Ables, and Barry Ables and wife, Christi; sisters, Sherry Wood and husband, Daniel, Kerry Harcrow and husband, Darrell, and Meri McCarley and husband, Glenn; and many other relatives and numerous friends.
