W. G. Beck, 72, Is Dead

Resident of Portland Since 1852 Succumbs at Daughter's Home

W. G. Beck, 72, a resident of Portland since 1852, died last night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George M. Noltner, 525 East Thirty-ninth street. He was well known as a financial agent, real estate and insurance broker. Mrs. Beck arrived in Portland at the age of three years. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Noltner and Mrs. Louise Cruikshank of Pendleton. He was born in the United States arsenal at Liberty, Mo. Mr. Beck was the son of William Beck, president of the company which built the first bridge across the Willamette river at Portland.

BECK—In this city, Feb. 24, William G. Beck, at his late residence, 525 East 39th st., father of Mrs. G. M. Noltner of this city, Mrs. Louis A. Cruikshank of Pendleton, Or., and brother of Mrs. Louise M. Stone of Fresno, Cal. The funeral services will be held Monday, Feb. 27, at 2:30 o'clock P. M. at his late residence, 525 East 39th st. Interment in Riverview cemetery.
