Whitehall, MI Mrs. Adelaide L. Duff, age 97, died Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at Poppen House in Muskegon. She was born February 3, 1917, in Williams, Minnesota, to Ernest and Mary (Palmer) Beauchamp and has lived in the Muskegon and Whitehall area since 1929. She married Bernard Duff in 1933. He preceded her in death in 1985. She was formerly employed and was retired from Howmet Corporation. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church and a former and Charter member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Muskegon. FAMILY: Survivors include four sons, Bernard Jr. (Bao Anh) Duff of Vietnam, John (Roberta) Duff of Whitehall, Patrick (Lois) Duff of Portland and Paul (Karen) Duff of Grand Ledge; five daughters, Marlyn Krause of Whitehall, Eleraine "Bunny" Higgins of Norton Shores, Priscilla (Robert) Gross of Portland, Mary Beth Facchini (Andy Szmalec) of Muskegon and Amy (Bernie) Robart of Whitehall; special niece, Rosemary Kellogg; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-children; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Sharon Duff and Eleraine "Bunny" Higgins, two son-in-laws, Robert Gross and Gerald Kraus and five sisters and five brothers. SERVICE: The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, October 6, 2014, at 11 AM, at St. James Catholic Church, 5179 Dowling St., Montague, with Rev. Fr. Peter Omogo as Celebrant. A ROSARY will be recited Sunday evening, at 6:45 PM, at CLOCK Funeral Home of White Lake, 413 S. Mears Ave., Whitehall. Interment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Montague. VISITING TIME: Sunday, 5-7 PM at the funeral home in Whitehall.
