Mr. Griffin was a native of Washington County but made his home in Baldwin County. He was a retired supervisor with Forsmann, a cattle farmer and a member of the Cattlemen's Association. He was a member and Deacon of Friendship Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Morgan and Lillie Pearl Rawls Griffin and his wife Joanne Lewis Griffin.
Survivors include two sons Ben Griffin and his wife Marci, and Mike Griffin, daughter Linda Kay Hamilton and husband Wayne, brother George Griffin and sisters Sara Frazier and Maudie Mae Prosser all of Milledgeville, 4 grandchildren; Cadi Griffin, David Griffin, Chance Griffin and Stephen Jones.
