From the beginning to the end of her life, Heather was a joyful, happy girl who shared her love and enthusiasm for life with her family and her many friends. She enjoyed many hobbies, including painting, jewelry making, and traveling. Her favorite travels were trips to Williamsburg, Virginia, Charleston, South Carolina, Disney World, Florida, and the frequent trips to Nashville she shared with her mother and her much beloved cousin, Cheryl (Sherry) Lynn Wells Brown, who passed away a year ago this week and with whom she is now enjoying a glorious and happy reunion in the house of our Lord.
Heather was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joseph B. and Lela Melton and Clyde Sr. and Elizabeth Siewert Sutton.
She is survived by her parents, Clyde and Janice Sutton of Henderson; one brother, Greg Sutton and his wife, Nelissa, of Henderson; her beloved nephew and nieces, Simon, Gabrielle, and Elizabeth Sutton; aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be at noon Thursday at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. Father Larry McBride will officiate. Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and until 11 a.m. Thursday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home where prayers will be said at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
