CAROLINE DE HAAN
Caroline S. De Haan, 75, died of a heart ailment Friday morning at her home, 1029 Fifth Ave., Des Moines, Iowa, according to a short news story in the Des Moines Register. The story continued.
Born at Pella, Miss De Haan had lived in Des Moines for the last 40 years. She was a retired stenographer. She was the daughter of the late Marguerite Veenstra (De Haan) and Henry De Haan. She graduated from Pella High School and Central College. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Harriet and Barbara and one brother John She is survived by two sisters, Misses Anna and Katherine De Haan with whom she lived.
Services were held Monday, January 30, in Dunn's Funeral Home, with burial at Pella. She is survived by two sisters, Miss Anna and Miss Katherine De Haan, with whom she lived.
