Gassaway Walton, 83, of Stephenville, TX died June 13, 2003 at a Fort Worth hospital.

He was born to Stokley Monty and Lottie Frances McGee Walton on July 27, 1919, at Morgan Mill, TX. He was married to Dolly Brown who preceded him in death in 1991. He was a WWII Army Infantry veteran, a member of the Baptist church, and an Auto Mechanic.

Survivors include three brothers, P. J. Walton of Fort Worth, TX, John Vernon Walton of San Angelo, TX, and George D. Walton of Stephenville, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
