Ebbie Rogers Wells, 81 of Borger died Saturday January 17th in Amarillo. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Tuesday January 20th at Keeler Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Bartley officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Ebbie was born May 17, 1933 in Kirkland, TX to General Ebbie and Viola Messenger Mahan. She had been a resident of Borger since 1944. She retired from J M Huber as a buyer. She loved to sew, camp, golf, gardening and singing in church.
Ebbie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Alyn Rogers and second husband Robert Wells, sisters Wynona Beck and Linda Ashby and a brother Dale Mahan.
Ebbie is survived by a son Gary Rogers of Amarillo. Daughter Rita and Husband Kenneth Petr of Borger. Sister Donnell Drake of Borger. Two grandchildren Brad Hill and Shelly Petr. Two great grandchildren Gabe and Ellie.
