Ronald Earl Cargile, 81, of Pineville died January 15 in Joplin.

He was born May 8, 1933 in Washburn to Early Cleveland Cargile and Wilma Celnora Solley Cargile He was a family man who loved to make things with his hands. He was very giving to others. He liked to be outside, gardening, feeding his catfish and going to the casino. He liked to watch game shows and listen to Bluegrass music. He was a great cook and was loved.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Homer and Frank Cargile; two sisters, Lily Hayworth and Rosie White.

Survivors are his wife of 60 years Joy Cargile of the home; a daughter, Carrie Searcy of Pineville; two sons, Ronnie Cargile and wife Pat of Pineville and Bill Cargile and wife Niki of Pineville; four brothers, Edward, Donald(Ronalds twin), Lewis and Lonnie Cargile; two sisters, Wanda Gilstrap husband Bob and Mary Pierce husband Bob; four grandsons, Brian, John, Scott, Jeff Cargile; two granddaughters, Amanda Searcy, Kristen Wingenbach and husband Tom; and three great-grandsons, Chase Cargile, Colter Wingenbach, Ashton Wickes and one great-granddaughter, Makynlee Cargile.

Service is set for 2pm Monday, January 19 at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Pea Ridge. Burial will be in Kings Cemetery in Washburn. Visitation will be 2-4p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
