Hazel O. Tomlinson, 83, of 2501 Allentown Road, formerly of Bartonville, died Thursday, July 8, 2004, at Pekin Hospital.

Born April 8, 1921, in Hartsburg to Dewey E. and Elizabeth Eeten Chitwood, she married Robert M. Tomlinson on June 11, 1949, in Pekin. He died Oct. 20, 1993, in Peoria.

She also was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Tomlinson, and two sisters.

Surviving are; two sons, Ronald Sutton of East Peoria and Robert Tomlinson of Joliet; two brothers, Earl (and Lois) Chitwood and Don (and Alice) Chitwood, both of Bartonville; and four sisters, Leota (and Bill) Hoffert of Bartonville, Evelyn Garman of Albuquerque, N.M., Bernice Eitenmiller and Mary (and Ed) Sipka, both of Pekin.

She worked at Bemis Bag Co. in Peoria and was a janitress at Keystone Steel & Wire Co. in Bartonville until retiring.

Cremation will be accorded and inurnment will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens.
