Mrs. Green, a descendant of the Love family for who Love County was named, died Friday in an Ardmore hospital after a brief illness. Born at Oil Springs, I.T. Jan. 19, 1891. She had resided all her life in Love County. She was a life-long member of Mahota Memorial Church.
Survivors include the widower, Less M. Green; a son, Gene; three daughters, Mrs. Inez Hapgood, clay Center, Kan., Mrs. Lahoma Ruth, Henderson, Nev., and Mrs. Geneva McGehee, Marietta, Route I, and four grandchildren.
Active and honorary bearers are Charlie McCain, J.W. Dixon, King McKinney, Carl J. Riley, Joe Williams, T.I. Sanders, Tom Couser, John Martin, D.W. Campbell, G.R. Law, William Robertson, Charles Milor, Roy Porter, Jack Thurman, W.B. Looney, and Chester Wilkins."
