Age 62. Passed away July 16, 1971 at Park Lane Campsite in the town of Springwater, Wis. Mr. Casson was born Nove. 10, 1908 in Menomonee, Mich., formerly resided in Marinette, Wis. and had resided in Racine 45 years. In Indiana on Sept. 25, 1931 he was married to the former Marjorie Nelson. Mr. Casson had been employed as a commercial artist at S. C. Johnson & Son Inc. for 29 years, last working July 16, 1971. He was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church Musicians Union No. 42 of Racine, JMBA, S. C. Johnson Twenty Year Club and was president of Johnson's Band for several years. Surviving are his wife, Marjorie; one son, Clarence A. Casson III of Evanston, Ill.; three daughters, Mrs. Ray (Kay) Horne of Racine, Mrs. Gil (Marilyn) Bose of Kenosha, Ellen of Racine; nine grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 20, 1:30 p.m. at Hanson Funeral Home, the Rev. C. H. Chaveriat will officiate. Interment will be in West Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call this (Monday) afternoon and evening at Hanson Funeral Home, 722 N. Memorial Drive from 4 until 9 p.m.

Grandpa Casson actually died while on vacation in Wild Rose, Wisconsin from a heart attack. In his obituary, it says he died in Springwater, Wis. Wild Rose is only 8 minutes away from Springwater, so it's easy to get confused. - Kathy
