Billie Robinson, 75, of Ironton, OH, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at the Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. The Pike County, Kentucky native was born June 2, 1939, a daughter of the late William Bradley Taylor and Bertha Taylor.
She was also preceded in death by
her husband, Loren Thomas Robinson, who passed away April 8, 2004;
a daughter, Susan Mae Robinson;
a brother-in-law, Rondal Robinson;
a sister-in-law, Gloria Johnson.
She was a graduate of Ironton High School and received her Bachelors Degree from Ohio University in Education. She was a school teacher for the Rock Hill School District for 32 years, retiring in 1999 and a member of First Baptist Church in Ironton, OH.
She is survived by
two sons, Chris (Julie) Robinson of Ironton, OH and Eric (Tonya) Robinson of Xenia, OH;
two sisters, Barbara Frey of Winter Haven, FL and Bonnie Donahue of Ironton, OH;
two brothers, Ted (Brenda) Taylor and Fred (Carol) Taylor all of Ironton, OH;
four grandchildren, Derek Robinson of Ironton, OH, William Robinson, Owen Robinson and Sophie Robinson all of Xenia, OH;
three sisters-in-law, Linda (Phil) Hilgenberg of Cincinnati, OH, Charlotte (Dennis) Miller of Wilgus, OH and Anna Lou Robinson of Deering, OH;
a brother-in-law, Keith (Helen) Robinson of Richmond, VA;
several nieces and nephews.
